memory cloth
Introduction
Memory fabric (MEMORY FABRIC) refers to the fabric with shape memory function, also known as memory cloth, or shape memory cloth.
origin
It was developed by Italy at the end of 2005. It has the plasticity and luster of metal fabrics, but it feels softer than metal fabrics and does not have to worry about damage to creases. Garments made of this fabric can be independent without external support. Keep any shape and any wrinkle, and it can be completely restored to a flat state after flicking with your hands, without leaving any creases, and the shape retention is permanent.
In 2007, South Korea also launched memory fabrics. At the same time, Hong Kong Polytechnic University also developed memory fabrics. Subsequently, domestic factories also developed memory fabrics one after another. However, the weaving of domestic memory products has not yet fully matured.
product nature
Because this kind of fabric has good wrinkle recovery ability (good wrinkle effect and recovery ability are the characteristics of the latest international functional fabrics), comfortable hand feeling, soft luster, anti-pollution, chemical resistance, dimensional stability, antistatic, Anti-ultraviolet and other characteristics, and most importantly, with “memory”, the fabric becomes non-ironing and easy to care, so relevant textile experts predict that memory clothing will become the mainstream fashion product in the market in the next few years.
Finishing
Environmental dyeing, water splashing, Teflon, sanding, bronzing, silver coating, printing, P/A, P/U transparent glue, white glue processing, high water pressure resistant film, dry and wet method breathable and moisture permeable glue, T/PU breathable membrane.
scope of application
Functional outdoor sportswear, racing suits, branded garments, down jackets, raincoats, jackets, sportswear, casual wear, handbags, bags, sleeping bags, tents, bedding, etc. But judging from the current trend, it is mainly used for branded ready-to-wear, jackets, sportswear, and casual wear. Domestic enterprises still mainly rely on imported polyester yarns to produce such kinds of fabrics.
However, the market economy always has new products. At present, many textile companies with vision invest new fabrics in memory fiber cloth (memory cloth).
